Papa: "Hey~ Michelle, Michelle."

Michelle: "Yes, Papa, what is it?"

Papa: "Can you bring this to Yonamine-san's place just to the back?"

Michelle: "OK. The Yonamine's? place."

Papa brought a plate filled with what looked like donuts. Ah, this is a sweet called sata andagi.

[T/N: "Sata Andagi" (Sata meaning "sugar" and Andagi meaning "deep fried") is a type of deep-fried dough native to Okinawa that is similar to donuts or Portuguese malasada. It is also somewhat popular in Hawaii where it is sometimes known simply as "Andagi".]

Papa: "As we've moved to Japan it's the standard to go around and greet your neighbors. Papa will go around from the Eastern side, so I'm counting on you Michelle!"

Isn't it ok if we don't use Japanese in the house.... I thought as I ate an andagi and made my way to the back to bring them to Yonuminyu-san's place.

Papa: "Ah, yes yes! Yonamine-san's place has a lot of goya, so you can't miss it!"

Ah...that green and weird tasting thing I had yesterday...

Goya goya...mm, ahh, this must be it, the house really is surrounded by the green color of the goya and looks messy. I'll just hurry to drop this off and go home...

Ow. Something just flew into my head.

Man: "H-hey! How dare you just come into someone's house like that!"

Michelle: "Ah, I know that green thing. It's called... a goya."

Man: "Mm, ahh, yes. Goya. I'm making these at home...just leave it there! And listen to what people are saying!"

Michelle: "OK. Ask me."

Man: "....uh...uh...asu? Asu....ah. Yes. So! Why are you barging into my home? I don't want you to step foot in my fields!"

Michelle: "...hm? What?"

Man: "Uggggghhhh!!! I said!!! Why, are, you, here!!! I'm not giving you any goya!!"

Michelle: "That's not why I'm here...here, cause of moving...."

Man: "Oh, well thank you so much. This is one of my favorite foods."

Michelle: "...okay, I'm glad."

Man: "So let's leave them here so we can eat them right away."

Michelle: "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea..."

Man: "No! Why are you here, that's what I'm asking!!"

Michelle: "What....it's because..."

Man: "Leave now! This isn't a place you can just barge into!"

Michelle: "...why?"

Man: "....no, it's just...I can't tell you the reason. But I don't want you to enter."

Michelle: "...sob. I brought it, but, you say such horrible things."

Man: "J-just leave! No, I really am grateful that you brought them! But unacceptable things are still unacceptable! It's just not acceptable!"

Michelle: "Huh....okay....then. Bye bye."

Man: "Yes Yes! See you! Please excuse me!"

Michelle: "...anga~..."

Well, guess it's ok. I'll just go back. The glasses guy seems to be occupied, anyway.

Man: "Ah, yes yes."

For some reason the glasses man innocently hands me over a basket full of goya. Why?

Man: "Ah, it-it's for politeness!"

Whaat, so much? It's heavy... but if I take them, I have to give thanks.

Michelle: "T-thank you..."

Man: "Mm, yes. Yes...now please go!"

Michelle: "......."

Man: "Did she leave? Phew...thank goodness."

Man: "Might as well enjoy those delicious sata andagi now."

Man: "Hmph. Andagi is particularly delicious when eaten under the eaves with tumeric tea. Yes."

 ...What!!

与那嶺桃春(Yonamine Toushuun)

The fighting partner of the protagonist. A weird glasses man who hates the protagonist for some reason and likes to pick fights with her. Even in the middle of a fight he doesn't forget manners. Lives with his grandma. He lives off of growing goya.

It's Toushuun. Toushuun.
I feel like most traditional Okinawan names would have an onyomi reading.

■ Suguki-san ■

朱城きぬ(Suguki Kinu)

A bright girl whose hobby is to make sata andagi. When she goes beyond being cheerful and starts laughing she can't stop. She's wanted to be friends with the protagonist since the beginning of her arrival and always has sata andagi with her in her hand when she comes to play.

Yes. It's that person's....

Kinu-san. When she starts laughing hard, she can't stop.

        The end.
