Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club Pure is a re-imagining of Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club that ran from 2004 until 2006, and was later removed from Kitayume sometime in late 2007. Like the original, it follows Noto Kanazawa’s adventures with his school’s broadcasting club, but diverges sharpy in terms of story and characterization. It also spawned the spinoffs Barjona Bombers and The Deserted House, as well as the Notosama visual novel series.
